CSI Certification Programs

On July 1, 2018, the Construction Documents Technology (CDT®) program transitioned from a certificate to a certification. Read more here.

CSI is the construction community’s authority on communication and construction documentation. Through CSI’s Certification Program, you can develop a conceptual understanding of the entire construction process, and concrete skills in:

  • Construction documentation development and administration
  • Specification writing and enforcement
  • Product research and sourcing
  • Communication with the design and contracting teams

CSI's Certification Program consists of the Construction Documents Technologist (CDT®), Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA™), Certified Construction Specifier (CCS™) and Certified Construction Product Representative (CCPR™).

"The CDT® helped me understand building concepts and language that I didn't learn in school" - Mark Muller, CSI, CCCA, CDT
