Trying to decipher the electrical requirements for door hardware in you project?  In this program, the fundamentals of basic electrified door hardware will be explored. The technology available, frequently used terminology and components, and codes that drive electrified hardware will be discussed. We will discover when and why electrified hardware is used as well as recognize the types of hardware that can be electrified, and which to select to maintain fire and life safety. We will also discuss codes that require the use of electrified hardware and become aware of the required components necessary to complete a system, including elevation and wiring diagrams, their use and make up.

David has been in the architectural hardware business for over 30 years.  He is a member of the Door Hardware Institute and a certified Architectural Hardware Consultant (AHC).  David has been a national instructor for DHI (Door Hardware Institute) for the past 6 years.  David is the Past President of the Cincinnati chapter of CSI and currently serves as administrative and program chairs.
