To review Architectural Hardware Submittals efficiently, a better understanding of cracking the code between manufacturers and model numbers is needed. This program will help develop a better understanding of submittal terminology to save time in the approval process while satisfying building code requirements.

We will Identify the basic components of a complete door opening and gain an understanding of architectural hardware submittals which will lead to a better connectivity of building and specifications while meeting building codes. We will identify here to look for signs of code compliance; determining if openings meet fire ratings, life safety codes, and accessibility standards to accommodate building orientation and design criteria.

We will also learn how to verify hardware schedule submittals to confirm security issues as specified are meeting building codes and providing well planned safety and security systems.
